CASE STUDY · Agriculture Data Platform

AgriStreams

Streaming farm data into decisions — an API-first platform for agricultural monitoring and alerts.

The problem

Agricultural operations generate data from sensors, weather feeds, and field reports, but it lands in disconnected silos. Decisions get made on stale spreadsheets instead of live signals.

The platform needed to ingest heterogeneous data streams, normalize them, and serve them through an API fast enough for real-time dashboards and alerting.

The solution

AgriStreams normalizes incoming streams into a unified schema and exposes them through documented, cache-accelerated API endpoints. Redis sits in front of hot queries so dashboards render in milliseconds, not seconds.

Alerting rules evaluate incoming data against thresholds and trigger notifications, while the React front end visualizes trends per field, crop, and season.

The result

[N]data streams ingested daily
[X] msmedian dashboard query time
[N]alert rules evaluated per hour
[X]%faster decisions vs. spreadsheet baseline

Metrics marked [X] are placeholders — final numbers pending client approval.
