A React Native booking platform that replaces phone tag with self-serve appointments for salons.

The problem

Salons lose bookings to phone tag: calls missed during busy hours, no-shows with no reminder trail, and schedules managed on paper or WhatsApp.

Owners needed a way to publish availability, take deposits, and fill quiet slots — from a phone, without any training.

The solution

SalonBook is a React Native app with a real-time booking flow: browse services, see live availability, book, pay a deposit, and get reminders — in under a minute.

The backend exposes a booking API with conflict-proof slot allocation (no double bookings, even under concurrent requests), staff schedules, and automated reminder notifications.

An owner dashboard shows utilization, no-show rates, and revenue per service, so decisions come from numbers instead of guesswork.
